He is calm and so am I

He is having tea with lemon,

And I drink coffee,

That’s the different thing between us.

He is wearing, like me, a baggy striped shirt

And I read, like him, the evening news paper.

He doesn’t see me when i look closely,

I don’t see him when he looks closely,

He is calm, so am I

Shake my left leg

Shaking his right leg

grooving to a melody of a song,

Humming a similar tune.

I think: is that the mirror in which i see myself?

Then i looked into his eyes,

But i don’t see it…

I leave the cafe in a hurry.

I’m thinking: Maybe he’s a killer, or maybe

He is a passerby he thought i was a killer

He is scared and so am I
