Surrounded By Unspoken Words

My words besiege me in my dreams, my words that I did not speak

And they write me, then leave me searching for the remnants of my sleep

Without guidance I walk. I search for nothing. I don't even search for myself in all this light

As if I haven't gone far. As if I returned from a brief visit to bid farewell to a traveling friend, only to find myself sitting waiting for me on a stone bench beneath an apple tree.

In my depths there is a hidden music, I fear for it from the solo performance.

I am here. And everything else is rumor and hearsay!
